Apart from the Federal Skilled Trade candidates, PNP candidates were also taken in this draw. The score at which the PNP candidates were shortlisted was 302. After these PNP candidates got their provincial nomination, their score had risen to 902. So 302 is a very low score for the PNP program candidates also.
The candidates for both these programs were at an advantage because an exclusive draw was done only for them. In fact, the government used a system for the breaking the tie also. The candidates who had filed the Express Entry application before May 30th of 2018 at the time of 14:52 am, were selected. This is how candidates with similar CRS scores were targeted by IRCC.
This is the least score in the CRS after the score of 413 on May 31, 2017.
This draw in 2018 was a rarity of a kind because it was just restricted to a single program. All the prior draws which have happened so far shortlisted the candidates for all the three programs of Express Entry.

The PNP programs allow a candidate to file his application for the specific provincial nominee programs without any obstacles. They can choose any province depending on what the criterion set for nomination by that province are. Some provinces like Manitoba values a candidate based on whether he has been in the province for some duration, either studying or working.
There are some provinces like British Columbia which require the candidate to have already got lucrative employment in this province so that he has funds to support himself upon reaching here. Besides this requirement, it’s also mandatory for the candidate to have 24 months of work experience to prove his worth for the job.
